Delicias del Perú Revisited
Jan 21st, 2007 by Don Ray
I had a guest in from Costa Rica that had never seen Boquete so today we drove up. It was lunchtime and I had enjoyed Delicias del Perú so much last August, I decided to try it again. Again the food was extremely good.
I had Corvina with langostinos. It was absolutely great. It had a very good sauce and four large langostinos.

This plate was corvina negro and covered with what looked like large capers. I understand this dish was also superb.

So for two visits, this one still has my vote for the best restaurant in Boquete.

Bazaar what the heck is it?
Corvina is a white bass.
Don Ray, what is the starchy-looking food? I think I had some in a cafe in a non-mashed form but can’t remember what it is called.
The vegatable to the right is mashed potatos, or as they call it puré de papas.
Good morning Don,
Thanks for the delicious photos… it was also our favorite restaurant to eat in Boquete. They have a dessert called Suspiro Limeno also which is delicious. I cant wait till we are back in Panama an the end of the year.

Hi Mirethy - I have never had any of the desserts there. Maybe i should try one some time, but I knew I was going to stop at Alemana on the way out of Boquete. Since it is going to be a while before you can enjoy some of the local food, just let me know your favorites and I will eat it for you till you get here.
