Impression of the Chat Feature
Jan 5th, 2007 by Don Ray
Back on December 15, I added a chat and request feature to Chiriquí Chatter. The three weeks that I have played with it have been pretty interesting. I have been able to chat with several folks and have responded to a couple of messages that were left when I was offline. This feature is designed to be used as an online help desk. However, it is proving pretty useful for me in understanding what people need in the way of information. .
I can see how many people are online at the same time. I can see if they got here by a Yahoo or Google search for information and what that search was. Of course I can see the IP address so I can determine what part of the world they are living in. I can see that people do actually go the archives tab and read whole categories. And I could go on. It is fun to just sit and watch people come and go.
It appears to be worth keeping. Now I need to design some better images to indicate my ability to chat or not.

Another great way around paying through the nose for LONG distance! I love the internet! Been saving me a pile of $!
Yes. The Internet is a great thing.
