Parque Cervantes Update
Oct 17th, 2006 by Don Ray
I was asked the other day about the status of Parque Cervantes. Yesterday, I was able to get a couple of photos.
The first photo shows one of the areas in pretty much final form. It is planted and nice and green

The second photo is pretty reflective of the rest of the park. There is still a lot of work that must be done before it opens.

You can compare these photos to those in a previous entry.

Thanks, Don Ray. A guy like me will really appreciate a relatively tranquil place like that so that I can just step across the street and watch mi esposa shopping around the block. If that pales, I know I can escape into the libreria or, should I decide to convert, into the iglesia on the other side of the block.
You know, a little group of pictures of the street scenes surrounding the block might be interesting sometime, too. But that’s another day.
Thanks again for the eyes.
I enjoyed the previous park. It was nice to take a book and go read or even just sit and watch the people. When they get this complete, it is going to be a pretty park.
Thanks for the fotos and this great website. I’ve been looking for a real website about chiriqui and I think I found it.
Keep the good work! I’ll be back…
Thanks for dropping in and the nice comment.
[...] I have decided that these workers are getting paid by the hour and don’t want this project to end. I found it hard to see any progress since I took the last photos. [...]
