Just A Few Updates

Yesterday was the grand opening of AudioFoto. I stopped in and sampled a few snacks and a cappuccino. I was hoping I could find a good deal on a TV, but no such luck. I also wanted to check on information I had been given about a Canon repair location in Panama City. My old Canon had an accident back in December and I turned it in to the suggested site about three months ago. Every month they tell me they still don’t have the parts.
When I talked to the Alvaro González at AudioFoto, who is the person that gave me the service Center name, he told me that was the reason that he no longer carried Canon. It is because of the poor service they provide in Panama. I hope I don’t ever need service on the camera I bought in January in Texas. That is a shame that Canon is doing such a bad job with service in Panama.
In case you have forgotten TGI Friday’s opens on the 12th. I am halfway thinking I might walk down for lunch and get a burger. I would imagine that for a while it will be packed. Many folks here will want to go because they have never seen a Friday’s. They have been practicing for the last two weeks, so they should be able to give good service. Damn. I am hungry just thinking about it.
A friend of mine went last Wednesday for one of their practice sessions. They comped the food and drinks. He said the A/C was turned down. He wished he had taken a sweater.
Just my luck to miss out on free food.
